Design provisional refusals
Where a Hague designation of Romania or the EU is provisionally refused, the response is handled exactly as for trade marks: filed with the issuing office, within its deadline, through an appointed local representative.

Common questions
- Is a design refusal handled differently from a trade mark refusal?
- No — the mechanism is the same: the response is filed with the issuing office (OSIM or the EUIPO), within its deadline, through an appointed local representative.
- What do you need to start?
- The WIPO notification (or office action), the registration number, and a power of attorney; a scan is enough to begin.
