About us
Teodoru IP SRL — practising as RomaniaTrademarks — is a focused intellectual property firm acting as local counsel in Romania and the European Union for foreign agents and their clients. We have been in practice for more than 25 years.
The firm
Since 1999 we have filed, prosecuted and defended trade marks and industrial designs before OSIM (the State Office for Inventions and Trademarks), the EUIPO, and the international systems administered by WIPO. Trade marks and designs are the centre of the practice; patents, copyright, domain names and litigation complete it.
We work the way instructing agents need a local firm to work — in your name, to your deadlines, reporting in clear correspondence. The practice is led by Emanuel Teodoru, an attorney-at-law with 30 years’ experience and a registered intellectual property attorney before OSIM and the EUIPO, with more than 20 years in trade marks and designs.

Credentials
We are registered representatives before OSIM and the EUIPO, and we act before WIPO on the Madrid (trade marks) and Hague (designs) designations of Romania and the European Union.

- We run a conflict check and confirm we can act before any engagement begins.
- We confirm requirements and deadlines in writing — language, power of attorney (a scan suffices to begin), and the route we recommend.
- We report at each stage in clear, fixed correspondence, so you can update your client without chasing us.
